Dave Magee got his start in the business by training adn racin gon the Wisconsin fair circuit. Loaded with talent, "Davey" proceeded to the top of the driving ranks at Quad City Downs and ultimately conquered the Chicago circuit with driving titles at Maywood and Sportsman's Parks and Hawthorne. Dave has been one of the best in the country for decades. He has driven for over a million dollars every season since 1979 - most of those years totaling two, three or four million. He conquered the country in 1994 receiving the Harness Tracks of America Driver of the Year and went on to win the 1995 World Driving Championship. Through October 2001, Dave has credited almost 8,900 wins and earned over %68,000,000. Mr. Magee has driven some of the best horses in the world and has won numerous stake events with an endless list of American Nationals under his belt. He has driven in Breeder's Crosn races and recently put a Hambletonian drive under his belt. His 2001 campaign as usual has not been disappointing, as he has been dominating with the pacing sensation, Mini Me. Overall, Dave is a powerhouse driver who has a hot driving hand and an admirable personality that has taken him straight to the top.
