The morning speaker for the Annual Meeting will be Chuck Bright, horseshoer for the Odds on Racing Stable. He will start at 10:00am on Saturday, January 20th.

Crafty Sailor, 13, is nearing $120,000 in lifetime earnings. Most recently he was 2nd at Northville in Michigan and just needs $228 to reach this new milestone.
Forever Mack seems to have found his niche. Finishing 3rd in each of his last five starts, he seems content to getting that show check for owners Matthew Potter, Eugene Thayer and WHHA member and trainer Jerry Dudzik. In this streak he has finished third for driver Sam Widger (twice), Mike Oosting (once) and, most recently, Tim Tetrick (twice).

On Thursday the 14th, twelve WHHA-owned horses will be racing (eleven at Maywood). So make some popcorn, relax in front of the computer/tv or head to the OTB and watch your fellow horsemen at the track!

Seven WHHA-owned horses raced Thursday, December 7th at Maywood Park. And three horses made it to the winners circle! Congratulations to: Dislocated - owned and trained by Robert Grismore of Freeport, IL, this 2-year-old filly won her first PM start in 2:00.3, handily driven by Ryan Anderson; Buster B Skipalong - owned and bred by Dr. Richard & Sally Fish of Rice Lake, WI, this 3-year-old gelding has made in two wins in a row, winning on 11-24 in 1:55.4 with Dale Hiteman and on 12-7 in 1:57.2 with Sam Widger up; and Girl Wonder - owned by Gregg Nebgen of Burlington, WI, this 6-year-old daughter of Midwest Horse Fair demonstrator Javelina, driven by Jason Dillander, is just $66 away from hitting $50,000 in earnings!
