New 2006 Notes: Read Before Racing With Us! (30-May)

All owners or lessees must be WHHA members in good standing (2006 members) to race at WHHA sponsored and co-sponsored meets.

All horses must have a 2006 coggins. They will be checked at the first meet your horse races at. They will NOT be allowed to race if there is no 2006 coggins.

Purse checks will only be made out to the papered owners.

There will be breathalyzer tests conducted at ran dom race meets this summer. All officials and drivers will be tested. Failure to blow a 0.0 or refusal will result in failure to participate in that day’s events.

First Wisconsin Race Meet Coming Up! (28-May)

Due to some printing difficulties, there has been a delay in getting the condition books out. Therefore, the information needed for the first race meet at Monroe is as follows:

Sunday, June 11, 2006 1:00pm

Classes will accommodate horses entered. Horses may be classified according to age, sex, gait and money earnings. Conditions governed by USTA rules.

Purse Pool: $4,000 split equally among all races
Entry Fee: $20.00

Entries close Thursday June 8th, at 12:00 noon

Roy Kline Rememberd (27-May)

Long time WHHA member and supporter Roy Kline of Sharon, Wisc. died this past Wednesday after a long battle with cancer. Roy's daughter Mishelle said that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the WHHA. We sincerly thank them for their generosity. Below is the information for Roy's memorial service and if you want to make a memorial donation in his name.
