Congratulations to the connections of Ivegotthehotspur as he has gone on to win three in a row for owner/trainer Gary Schmit and owners Paul Kearns and Daryl Bockhop. Good luck to the clan tomorrow at Balmoral as they attempt for #4 with driver Ryan Anderson, who has driven Ivegotthehotspur for all his wins in Chicago.

Mineral Point Crew Hits Trifecta (7-Nov)

Last week Thursday (2-Nov) at Maywood, Mineral Point horsemen won three out of the night's 12 races. In race #3 Lucky Lamont Kid, driven by Dean Magee, won his NW1/6CL-IB race in 2:00.2. The gelding, by Nukes Himself, is trained by Allen "Butch" Douglas and owned by his brother Scott Douglas. Butch Douglas got his training double when Danny "Pooch" Clark's gelding Deuteronomy won the 6th race. The 3-year-old son of Richess Hanover won the NW1 in 1:58.1 with Jason Dillander aboard. The Mineral Point triple was completed in the 7th race when Ivegotthehotspur won a NW2/6CL in 1:59.3. Paul Kearns, Daryl Bockhop and trainer Gary Schmit, all of Wisconsin, own the 3-year-old Sportsmaster gelding.
