Time is Running Out! (18-Sept)
Do you know someone that deserves to be in the Wisconsin Harness Racing Hall of Fame? If so, now is your chance to nominate that person for consideration to be inducted at the 2007 annual meeting of the Wisconsin Harness Horse Association.
There are 4 categories for which to nominate;
1. Living
2. Immortal
3. Equine
4. Family
Guidelines for nominations are that the person being nominated should have contributed significantly to Wisconsin harness racing as a breeder, an owner, a trainer, or a driver and/or through organizational leadership or should have achieved national prominence in one of the foregoing categories and have significant Wisconsin attachments.
In the equine category, the performance of the horse should be viewed as exceptional when compared to other horses competing in the industry at the time. Nominee should have achieved prominence in racing or reproduction and should have done so (in part, at least) in Wisconsin.
The family category should be a Wisconsin family encompassing at least three generations of active participation in harness racing with a positive impact.

Wisconsin-Owned Has Success in Chicago (15-Sept)
Congratulations to owners Bob & Carol Yohn as their horse, Prairie Dream, won at Balmoral on September 13th in 1:55.2 for driver Sam Widger. The 2 YO filly by Cole Muffler came home in :28.3 to get to the winner's circle in the 2 YO fillies NW 1 race.
