Racing Under Saddle horse & rider qualifying will be held at the Walworth County Fairgrounds in Elkhorn, Wisc. on Saturday, May 26th at 11:00am. This will be an opportunity to take the written examination as well as have your horses and the riders observed by our Presiding Judges for safety. Per our adopted guidelines, in order to race at any RUS event, the rider must pass the written examination and have participated in a schooling/qualifying exhibition. May 26th will be the first and only qualifying opportunity prior to the first race in Monroe on June 10th. Other qualifiers will be held at Elkhorn on June 30th and July 28th...but don't wait until the last minute! Questions/comments/concerns can be directed to WHHA President Gabe Wand at (608) 574-5468 or gabewand@yahoo.com.

It's that time of year!!! I hope everyone will be able to make it up to the Midwest Horse Fair. The WHHA will be representing the Standardbred again this year on April 20th, 21st, & 22nd. We are located in Barn 9 this year, and our schedule is as follows:
Friday, April 20th - Parade of Breeds (11:55am)
Saturday, April 21st - Demonstration (8:10am); Parade of Breeds (11:55am)
Sunday, April 22nd - Demonstration (8:10am); Parade of Breeds (12:15pm)
As always, we would love to have you assistance in the Barn area helping answer questions and promote the sport we all know & love! Please stop by for an hour or two if you can help out and relieve some of the folks that will be there from Thursday-Sunday.
If you have ordered a raffle calendar, we will have them there for you to pickup! Since we cannot officially "sell" them at Horse Fair because we didn't buy a raffle license, we can only distribute those who would preorder (or I guess I can you out behind the old Oak Tree . . . haha).
For information on this TOTALLY AWESOME raffle, contact Becky Swinehart at (608) 728-1818 or e-mail calendar@wiharnessracing.com. See everyone at the Midwest Horse Fair!
Cheers!
